Hale Kōkua Waiwai Program

Waimānalo Health Center is now accepting applications for the Hale Kōkua Waiwai Program.
The program provides Native Hawaiian families and/or individuals on O‘ahu with rent and mortgage assistance. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and are:
- needing a deposit or first-month rent payments for rapid rehousing and homelessness prevention, or
- at-risk of homelessness with rent or mortgage payments overdue
All applicants are required to provide:
- valid identification (e.g., State I.D., driver’s license, etc.)
- proof of Native Hawaiian ancestry (e.g., birth certificate, OHA registry card, etc.)
- proof of residency and/or monthly rent or mortgage payment amount (e.g., signed lease agreement, verification of mortgage statement, etc.)
- current income documentation (e.g., recent paystubs, Social Security benefit verification letter, bank statements, most recent year tax documents, etc.).
